Tough bidding sequence continued (bridge)

Didn't get many comments on the bidding sequences, so here's a reminder of the auction:

1C-(1H)-X-(3H)
5D

Assuming you take it as exclusion keycard for spades, you make your response, and partner now bids 6C. So what is that? What should it be?

1C-(1H)-X-(3H)
5D-(P)-5S-(P)
6C

I like to play that when in doubt, 6-level followups suggest a place to play. Here it makes perfect sense that partner has solid clubs and the key-ask in spades was what he needed to know.
